1 Star what is going on here?!?
hopefully, the third time is the charm because every one star review i write for this movie gets taken down by amazon! this is one of the worst indie movies i’ve ever seen. the fact that it has so many 5 star ratings only proves that Fatty Drives the Bus is incorrectly rated and reviewed… probably by those associated with the film.

don’t buy this awful movie. it just plain sucks.

D

5 Stars funny movie!
if you enjoy indipendent films that are strange like i do then you will love this!

5 Stars the dogs. they mock me!! ..you have your awake cap on.
i was trying to think of a quote to title this with, but i just cannot find one since this movie is chock full of em. so i put two. this movie is hilarious. every character is strong and classic in my book. the quirky couple, the bitter mother, bridgett, the scientist who is alone against a monstrous disease because nobody else gets it, the guy who gets ripped off after he tells his friend “not to get ripped off”, the two that fall in love, and the couple who are ignorant tourists are all done in such a great way, that this movie earns a top spot in my collection. i also sense a great romantic feel when i watch this movie. i mean the whole “big city..boy meets girl…weird artsy people…etc etc”…although i really think the opening credits are a bit lengthy, but it is worth it to view them. anyways, i highly recommend this film. i mean c’mon! its a nice day, were in the city, im beautiful!!

5 Stars Incredible move, buy it!!!!!!
I love this movie and can’t wait for it to hit DVD. It is well worth the price. Has endless quotable scenes and is over all amazing.

“Morning Satan want a donut?”

5 Stars an unlikely modern classic
I admit my expectations weren’t very high when i first watched this film,, but I was completely blown away. The directing and acting are gleefully amateurish, but it made me remember something important: sometimes, watching a movie should be fun.

First, we meet Satan, the formidable foe of mankind complete with horns and stretchpants. He wants to kill a tour bus full of innocent people. Their deaths were originally cancelled because Jesus happened to be in Chicago as well. Satan puts in a personal appearance by entering a Willa Wonka-like transformation machine, emerging as an amiable tour guide named Roger.

If it all sounds a bit wacky, that’s because it is. We meet all the characters next, who all tend to be likeably quirky (especially the “weird couple” and the “glamourous” drag queen). Satan, in disguise as the tour guide, runs around getting people to sign away their souls while showing all the important landmarks in Chicago, like Wrigley Field and the scene of the St. Valentine’s Day massacre.

Will Jesus save the tour bus, or will they all go to Hell? Would pressing that one button blast them all off into outer space? Where does Fatty stand in all of this? All this and a particularly rediculous ending in Fatty Drives the Bus.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Good Overview for First Time China Trip
This video provides a good basic introduction to the highlights of China for the first-time traveler. It includes the cities mentioned in the title, along with the Panda Breeding Center in Chengdu, the Guilin area and Shuzou. It is relatively recently-produced, so the video quality is good. I found the narrator’s voice to be a little annoying at times. All in all, it’s well worth buying if you are not very familiar with the country, but would probably be too cursory for those who have been there before or who have done their homework.

5 Stars Awesome!!
I greatly enjoyed this video. It was professionally done with beautiful crisp clear photography and interesting commentary. The whole country was well covered and I really enjoyed the section on Tibet as well as Shanghai. I hope to visit this beautiful country some day, and will use this video as my reference guide.

5 Stars Marvelous! I Loved it!
This DVD on China is marvelous. I’m a part time travel agent and I love it. I have shown it to a couple of people and they were extremely impressed. Who knows, I might get a few trips booked as a result. The videos were amazing.

4 Stars the future tourist destination
Travel China. Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong & Tibet

locations & photography are good but not all inclusive. The commentary is sometimes a little hard to understand, and in a few instances is a bit heavy handed.

Nevertheless the subject matter is very interesting, and well worth watching.

5 Stars Fascinating video
I really enjoyed this DVD. The mix of traditional Chinese cultural sites in Beijing and Xian and the ultra-modern skyline in Shanghai were fascinating.

RV Vacations For Dummies Dummies Travel

RV Vacations For Dummies Dummies Travel

From New England to the Oregon Coast, from Texas to the Tetons, America is full of fascinating and friendly places and your RV is a great way to get to any one of them. This fun, friendly guide shows you how to get the most out of RV vacations with fun itineraries and handy tips on: Choosing the right route; picking the right RV for your budget; eating and sleeping comfortably on the road; and planning ahead for special travel needs.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Love it!
Such a pratical, user friendly support for us! Gives sensible suggestions for new RV users (we just bought a used travel trailer & will upgrade to a 5th wheel in 5 years in hopes of going full-time.)

Simple language and directions for basic itms you’ll need, things you’ll want, places to go, assumptions to make and not make about camping and RV travel.

Pros and cons for types of units to consider make this book a good purchasee before you commit to spend the big bucks.

Not a read and discard book, but a read, reread and carry with you book!

1 Star Not centered on RV but on vacation ideas
I was looking for a guide that explains me how a vacation in RV is. Pros and cons, suggestions, how to have a nice vacation if you are new to RVing. In the first 30 pages they explain all this, then it’s just a bunch of chapters with vacation ideas. I already knew where i wanted to go, and my destination was not included in their suggestions so this book was completely useless for me. But if you are in your 40-50s, have an RV and don’t know where to go in vacation, this is a good book for you.

5 Stars The best book for those new to RVing
When hub and I decided to go on our first RV vacation we ordered up a batch of books from Amazon on the subject. This is BY FAR the best. Clearly written, funny, sympathetic to newbies, and most important, full of suggestions and tips to make your trip easier. It also has the best “what to bring” checklist of any of the books we looked at. We liked the book so much we took the author’s advice and rented an RV for our vacation. We liked that so much we are now about to buy an RV just like we rented - and, just like the authors did with their first RV. Highly recommended - don’t leave home before reading it.

1 Star Hmmm…It isn’t a horrible book but…
I dunno, maybe I expected more. It is a nice book…if you’re a complete dummy. I shouldn’t complain when it’s full of fluff mostly.

It only cost $11.50 on Amazon so I shouldn’t really complain. But I feel I should warn you not to expect much. It’s not a bad book really just kinda not too much information. I mean, do you really need to be reminded to take money and credit cards with you? I dunno-maybe it’s just me.

5 Stars Helpful for Families
Used this book before renting an RV out of our area (eg we flew to AZ, then rented RV), so we had to pack in advance. This book was the most helpful of the few I purchased. Packing Checklist and chapter on packing was invaluable. I would recommend this book to first time RV camping families!
